Pathways Students
Pathways Intern Employment Program: The NASA Pathways Intern Employment Program (IEP) is open to current students and individuals accepted for enrollment in qualifying educational programs. The IEP provides opportunities to work and explore careers while still in school. Intern appointments may be for indefinite periods without established ending dates or appointments with durations of up to one year. If you successfully complete a Pathways Intern appointment at NASA, you may be converted to permanent employment or term employment of up to six years.
Internships and Fellowships
NESB has a long history of participation in the NASA Internship Programs, including undergraduate, graduate, and post-doc positions. These opportunities are mentoring the next generation of scientists and engineers and making tangible contributions to NASA programs.
SBIR/STTR Program
The Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs are highly competitive programs that encourage domestic small businesses to engage in Federal Research/Research and Development (R/R&D) with the potential for commercialization.
